Purpose
To support the Finance Department in financial reporting & analysis, introducing leading industry practices into the financial accounting processes and reporting framework, and handling the regional non-Kuwait accounting affairs. This role will be a key support to the existing managers in the team by shouldering the effort and allowing them to focus on their roles and improvement initiatives.
Key Roles and responsibilities
•Perform consistent and periodic financial analysis on company performance and outlook aiming at providing financial insight for decision making, and providing comprehensive and effective visibility for stakeholders over financial trends, root causes, exceptions, financial risks, recommendations towards better profitability, variances, etc.
•Provide management and stakeholders with standard and adhoc financial reports and tools aligned with industry leading practices.
•Support on financial initiatives including building models (including tax impacts, foreign exchange impacts, etc…), cost savings programs, etc…
•Handle the Regional (non-Kuwait) accounting affairs, with a balanced load of project and overhead accounting depending on the scale of work as we grow.
•Work proactively with stakeholders (namely the regional RDs) to answer questions on financial affairs.
