The core purpose of the job is to analyze the overall purchase strategy, foster vendor development, review contracts, achieve cost-efficiency, drive key initiatives, implement action plan in coordination with all stakeholders
Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Compare & analyze statistically data to determine the feasibility of buying products.
Review contract terms and ensure JTC gets the best deal. Ensure contracts are managed in a timely manner.
Review specs and scope of high-value purchases, contract jobs and contract purchases
Procurement liaison to Operations/Inventory teams to gather relevant data sets for various cross-sectional analysis
DMAIC- Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control procurement activities
Develop actionable insights from the analysis of data sets and develop action plans to implement
Work hand-in-glove with Procurement Manager and other internal/external stakeholders to drive key initiatives
Market research for key purchases and scout for new vendors who can provide better service/product at better cost efficiency and delivery time
