- Negotiating and building relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
- Researching new or alternate materials/suppliers or origins of materials
- Preparing PO justifications, PO and approvals
- Training and developing myself and my staffs skills
- Meeting with my manager & external customers on Projects, ----- Projections, Critical/Low/Nil and Marketing calendar forecasting related work.
- Ensure in my category Kout food group are achieving the lowest possible price and highest quality for the products at the specification we require
- Achieve my objectives working with in targeted working capital and product spend
- Control my PPV within the agreed budget
- Agree specifications that the supplier can work to and be measured against.
- Negotiate payment terms to provide business the positive cash flow
- Place orders within negotiated and agreed standard lead time with the supplier.
- Provide my manager with the necessary data and scenarios to take effective decisions.
- Live and promote the Kout Food values and Culture
- Own and control write-off & Nil stocks
