To provide beauty hair services, such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, styling hair, massaging as well as analyzing hair condition and treating hair. May apply makeup, dress wigs, and provide skin care services in addition to the main role.
Book customer’s appointments with efficient time allocated for each appointment.
Recommend hairstyle compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences.
Analyze hair and scalp condition, and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments
Cut, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
Provide consultation and advice to customers if/when required, especially with providing a colour services. Patch tests must be carried out.
Perform shampoos and scalp and hair treatments.
Carry out treatments in a relaxed friendly and clean environment.
Train or supervise other hairstylist and hairstylist assistants and apprentices.
Attempt to resolve complaints/ customer feedback.
Operate cash register to receive payments from customers.
Maintain a clean working area and sanitise tools after each customer.
Promote and demonstrate products for retail.
Effective marketing & promotion of Urban Allure Salon brand.
Perform any other related duties as required to support the management & staff and overall Salon’s strategy.
