- Early Years Teachers required to care for and teach children in a nursery school setting.
Responsibilities
Create and manage a positive, caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning.
Identify clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations.
Eastablish appropriate daily routines for children, safeguarding their health and safety.
Organize and manage groups or individual children ensuring differentiation of learning needs, reflecting all abilities.
Plan opportunities to develop the social, emotional and cultural aspects of children’s learning.
Communicate and consult with parents over all aspects of their children’s education - academic, social and emotional.
Promote equality as an integral part of the roles and to treat everyone with fairness and dignity.
