- Working as per menu and recipes standards
- Create specialty dishes occasionally
- Train the staff and ensure quality assurance for the serving items
- Working with Restaurant Manager to deal with deliveries, stock rotation and requisitioning of stock.
- Keep updating for food expiration and inventory checking
- Reduce the cost for the kitchen department
- Assist the manager in supervising the functioning of all kitchen employees, facilities and costs to ensure maximum food and beverage departmental profit is achieved.
- Ensure cleanliness, satisfaction, and hygiene
- Motivate the kitchen associate to get the best performance out of them.
- Preparing the menu for a particular order, cooking, packing, decorating, managing the team, reporting and scheduling purchase of food ingredients and other required staff.
