- Supervises sourcing and procurement activities of spare parts and consumables needed to meet the internal and external demands of the company
- Prepares Spare parts demand forecast based on the analysis of historical data and submits to the manager
- Negotiates with suppliers and manufacturers for getting the best possible offer in terms of price and quality of items
- Monitors and reviews pricing structure, discounts and margins to meet market demands
- Oversees inventory control and performs periodic stock checking to match the actual quantity vs. ERP system quantity
- Prepares regular reports to the management on inventory, stock replenishment and any discrepancy report
- Supervises and monitors the daily workflow in stores and trains store keepers for maintaining standard operating procedures at all times
- Reviews and oversees the stocking policy and replenishes line items as necessary based on the demand
- Performs supplier evaluation by analyzing the quality of parts or consumables, cost, speed of delivery and payment conditions and submits the report to the Manager
- Oversees and monitors Invoice returns to suppliers and supervises the inspection of defective parts or items received
- Maintains and reviews the parts delivery process to service centers in terms of ‘Estimated time of arrival’ (ETA) and accuracy
- Prepares and analyzes seasonal demand for parts or consumables and coordinates with suppliers for the availability
- Prepares and analyzes the Key performance indicators (KPI) of the department such as
On-time delivery, stock replenishment rate, Repair order Fill rate and submits the report to the Manager with suggestions on opportunities for improvement
- Trains and educates Store Keepers, Purchasers, Pickers and helpers about the safety procedures to be followed while handling chemicals and hazardous materials
- Prepares all analysis reports and monitors record keeping of store orders, purchase orders and other legal documents
- Perform other related duties as required
