Job Purpose Summary:
• Responsible for the oversight of operations of Network, (LAN & WAN), (Voice & Security) including Data Center. Oversees the majority of technology and strategic support through its functional teams. Budget, Analyze, architect, design and Plan Enterprise Systems, Information Security, Network Services.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
• For Data Center Facility Identify, evaluate and execute operational strategies to ensure that data center operations achieve the highest level of availability. Plan and implement hardware installation and upgrades; maintain physical technical infrastructure, directories, and system documentation.
• Leading the team of network operations and manage in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that these are consistent with Organizations policies and mandate.
• Engage with the other teams to work on SOWs and then execute against plan to engage with early product technical design to build deep relationships with Product and Engineering teams to enable smooth deployments of critical products and services.
• Design network solutions for organization LAN & WAN technologies which includes identification of network design requirements including security, cost/benefit, operational parameters, integration and inter-operability. In addition, one of the tasks is reviewing and analysis of network service interruptions to ensure acceptable service levels.
• Establish network policies and standards to promote proper management of networks and ensure compliance with standards and security procedures. Review telecommunications vendor contracts for equipment and services to ensure service level terms and conditions are being met.
• Responsible for proactive network management including ongoing device inclusion and configuration, alarm and notification configuration. Maintain optimum version and service levels on all network devices within a structured method of process control. Proactively seek out and integrate system, network and process enhancements as part of continual improvement efforts. Recommend, introduce and integrate new and emerging technologies to enhance and improve the network and general systems environment.
