Overview
To work closely with Departments Managers to ensure that the open vacancies are filled in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensures that the Recruitment Policy & Procedures of the Company is adhered to.
- Ensures that the vacancies are filled with appropriate candidates having suitable job fitment as per the Job Description and specifications of the concerned open position
- Maintains an updated recruitment tracker and submits timely reports to the management
- Prepares position descriptions for posting of vacancies and coordinates with HR Coordinator in uploading it on company’s website, newspapers and free external job boards
- Plans and arranges “Career Open days”
- Searches, screens and shortlists CVs based on positions approved in the Manpower requisition plan
- Builds list and contacts of all potential recruitment agencies - local and international, for handling overseas recruitment procedures
- Maintains CVs database for all CVs received via hard copies or soft copies
- Pre-screens and shortlists CV's, and sends the CVs to the concerned hiring department
- Interviews applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills
- Contacts selected applicants to inform them of job offer acceptance
- Conducts reference and background checks on applicants
- Prepares contracts and job offers
for all new joiners, collect all required documents from the new joiner such as
civil ID copy and passport, submit to Admin Dept. and follow up on residency transfer
- Manages end-to-end process of overseas recruitment
- Prepares reports and coordinates to collect all required documents to be submitted to Admin dept. for visa processing and constantly follows-up for issuance of visas for overseas candidates
- Prepares all overseas employment contracts and ensures attestation of concerned officials are done
- Prepares and maintains reports on overseas recruitment status to concerned departments/administrators on visa process, arrival dates, allocation, etc.
- Responsible for dispatching and sends correspondence of all documents such
as original visa, electronic tickets and employment contracts to recruitment
agencies
- Follows-up with the agency for mobilization status of candidates
- If necessary, will accompany the department managers on recruitment trips
- Works closely with the hiring manager to produce a suitable orientation plan
- Conducts induction programs to welcome new hires to the organization
- Performs other related duties as required
