Job Purpose
To manage the shop performance, grow sales and reduce costs of the shop while meeting the company’s goals and Objectives. Meet the Company’s objectives and sales targets, by setting goals, targets and incentives for the section heads and other staff and run the general administration of the shop
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Control the cash custody and replenishment from the Head Office
- Manager the cash deposits and security
- Create a schedule for the staff and ensuring that they follow it
- Arrange formal weekly meeting with the staff
- Evaluate the staff on seasonal basis
- Training and developing the skills of the staff
- Ensure that the staffs develop their customer service skills and that they have all the tools to achieve their goals and sales targets
- To be available to address his team’s problems
- Ensure that the shop window is clean and merchandized as per the company’s guidelines
- Display any promotional licence on the shop window
- Ensure that all promotional signs are removed when the promotional licence is expired, and that the GRO & operation manager is informed one week before the expiry date
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and that there is an adequate amount of fire extinguishers
- Ensure that Section Heads are continuously reordering fast moving items and are reporting slow moving items to the buyers and the Warehouse
- Ensure that customer service is 100% satisfactory
- Open to customers’ opinions and suggestions and relay them to the Head Office.
- Provide personalized customer service when necessary
