A challenging career opportunity for SAP WM Consultant who will focus on the configuration and implementation of SAP Warehouse Management systems across the group. This includes implementation, operation, maintenance and support of enterprise software and in-house information system that support core warehouse and business processes. The role will monitor, maintain, support, analyze and optimize warehousing procedures and activities. You will promote the effective use of warehouse management systems and technologies to enable and drive continual process improvement.
Role Profile:
• Oversees the successful role out of warehouse management systems across the group;
• Lead the as-is study and responsible for obtaining approval on the documented process from management;
• Responsible for preparing the To-Be process, conduct workshops to align management on the new processes and subsequent documentation and approval from management.
• Responsible for configuration, fixes, Transport movements related to WM system as per the approved Blue Print.
• Works in co-ordination with other module resources to ensure successful data retrieval, analysis, solution identification, testing and end-user support.
• Influences and ensures the process is implemented as per the blueprint are adhered to relating to the inbound, put-away, replenishment, picking procedures and inventory activities,
• Responsible for end-user support after Go-Live.
• Liaises and works with SAP integrator (wherever applicable) and in-house system team to ensure all business requirements are met,
• Ensures the completeness and correctness of all procedures are fulfilled,
• Manages process design, source data analysis, data transformation, testing, data quality monitoring, trouble shooting, documentation, support and maintenance of the implemented WMS
• Leads training and manages the learning curve for warehouse staff on all WM processes changes,
• Effective change management on all processes changes: WM system and operational.
• Effectively communicates the system changes and its impact to the business users ensuring their buy-in
• Enforces and facilitates procedures to ensure warehouse management systems are installed and effectively utilized
• Generates periodic system KPIs to demonstrate the improvement in W/H operations and system adoption
