Position Overview :
As an Area Manager you will be responsible for the administration and daily operations of the branches which entire to you including Transactions, Customer Service, Security and Safety of the branch in accordance with the company objectives.
Develop relationship with new customers (individual and corporates). You will be responsible for promoting product/service offered by the company.
Position Functions
Area Management:
• Manage and drive area performance.
• Ensure delivery of communication & staff coaching on company products and services.
• Evaluate Branch performance through Branch visits etc.
• Identify and report fraud or any attempts intention of fraud.
• Ensuring strict adherence to company policy and procedures by all staff at branch.
• Identify short-falls and tackle them.
• Make sure that KYC process are implemented on all customers
• Strict Adherence to CBK procedures and regulations.

Financial Controls and Profitability Management:
• Communicate target and objectives for Branch (daily, weekly and monthly) and drive sales.
• Review (Daily Sales vs budgets)
• Review area performance and assist branches to achieve targets.
• Benchmark Branches against each other, set/reset/clarify objectives and identify best practices.
• Conduct competitors’ surveys.
Cash Management:
• Conducting sudden cash check alongside with the Head Teller.
• Review cash availability across all Branches and ensure proper rotation of cash between locations.
• Monitor daily branch FC/LC limits.
Customer Service Management:
• Build rapports with customer and scout for corporate customers when required.
• Conduct customer feedback about the quality of services.
• Review customer complaints, investigate and take the necessary action.
• Assisting customer’s in case of any complaints and directing the customer to customer service when needed.
Team Development
• Motivate branches staff to achieve targets
• Maintain and enhance skill levels at team and individual level
• Ensure teams are trained and coached on company system, product and services.
• Assess branch staff performance and identify training needs.
• Monitor branch performance and recommend the required action to enhance the performance for nonperformance branches.
• Conduct staff performance appraisal as per company policy in addition to proportion period evaluation.
• Ensure good discipline, punctuality at work and maintain dress code.
Branches Administration:
• Ensure
- Marketing plans are implemented and followed up in Branches.
- All company policies and procedures are followed properly
- Safety, security and cleanliness of Branch in accordance with Branch managers
- Maintenance of Branch for all aspects
