I'm looking for an experienced Purchasing Executive/ Supervisor for a large Food Production Company in Kuwait (Fisheries, Meat and Chicken) from Kuwait's Local Labor Market only.
Only Qualified Local Candidates - who are having past experience in handling local & overseas Food Procurement Experience - are welcomed to apply.
Job Role:
- Know-how purchasing and procurement techniques/ processes; budgeting, purchase orders, negotiations, cost estimations, contract negotiation…etc.
- Handling multi-tasks of local and overseas purchasing responsibilities.
- Practicing the work flow purchasing SOP according to company standards.
- Maintains suppliers’ database and communicate with reliable ones.
- Handling overseas shipments (+ tracking).
- Ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Communicate periodic reports to management on progress of shipments.
- Advise top management on the best and most efficient procurements resouces.
- keep an eye on daily operations.
- Ensure items purchased are according to pre-planned approved figures/ specifications.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers to ensure efficiency is achieved.
- Other related tasks whenever required.
