• Coordinate the occupational health services of the company
• Provide orientation on the occupational health and safety to new staff
• Counseling staff concerning health problems or personal requests or when referred by department heads
• Providing education for staff concerning preventative health care and hygiene
• Working with pathways to health care, supervisors, and employees when administering attendance awareness policy where there is a work related issue
• Acting as pathways to HSE rules and regulations
• Coordinates occupational safety program with Safety Manager
• Responsible for all aspects of workers compensations in liaison with subordinates
• Oversee a comprehensive fire and safety program
• Acting as pathways to liaison with applicable fire departments
• Research and write policies, procedures, and reports related to health and safety (i.e. Disaster plan, infection control etc)
• Review all accident reports, compiling and analyzing monthly statistics
• Provide training on various health and safety issues, disaster plans, fire safety, CPR, first aid administration, crisis prevention intervention etc to all employees.
