To contribute to client's income through marketing and selling bank products and services to existing and prospective clients and carry out effective processing and recovery of credit facilities.
Business Development
1. Develop and realize new business relationships.
2. Identify and provide appropriate financial solutions to clients who lead to maximum retention rates, growth and profitability.
3. Set up target names for prospect clients, in consistent with the marketing strategy in terms of size and industrial diversification; Meet or exceed assigned goals and budgets.
4. Assist in the direction of all sales activities and initiatives.
5. Retain and expand an assigned portfolio, growing and maintaining revenue, providing personalized service and effectively cross selling.
Work Control
1. Manage the client portfolio to ensure that the requirements of the clients are met, to provide top quality service.
2. Assist the manager in monitoring the business activities of area under supervision and report performance in figures; on a regular basis, i.e., actual vs. budget.
3. Monitors the quality of assigned portfolio on an on-going basis; Communicate and implement any changes to policies or procedures.
4. Proactively co-ordinate the client's relationship internally by means of co-operating with other business units.
5. Work closely with the Manager to ensure the cross-selling products are implemented and successful.
6. Effective management of accounts under portfolio and monitor availments.
7. Follow up on credit facility recovery, monitor and regularize issues related to irregularity or defaults as soon as possible.
Marketing Duties
· Meet clients to discuss financial requirements and provide professional advice relating to the range of available banking products and services, documented through visit/call reports.
Customer Relationship Management
1. Ensure quality and effective response to clients' queries and problems.
2. Develop and maintain solid client relationships and retain existing relationships.
3. Maintain client contact for obtaining credit related information and ongoing monitoring of credit.
4. Assist clients in making informed decisions about their financial needs.
Credit Facilities
· Assess financial statements and structure credit facilities based on risk analysis through preparation or review of credit applications to be presented to approving authorities.
· Ensure accurate and complete pre-fact requirements documented in line with bank's credit policy.
Documentation & Approvals
Review and ensure all documentation relating to approved credit facilities as per approved terms and conditions and in line with credit policy.
· Ensure timely receipt of documentation from clients to allow smooth and fast processing (Post Facts).
Team Building
1. Trains and coaches team members especially those who are at junior levels; and ensure that they exceed clients' expectations.
2. Assist the Manager in motivating every team member to promote and maximize productivity.
3. Contribute to developing team-spirit among peers, supervisors, and subordinates.
