Senior Social Media Executive will represent the voice of Al Sayer Group brand, maintains the positive image and reputation of the group. Executes all social media activities such as posting, measuring, and iterating to drive increased social media reach, engagement, and conversion. Responsibilities includes:
1. Plan and execute overall social media strategy, devise a publishing schedule and creation of editorial calendar.
2. Manage and monitor content across owned, earned and paid social channels, including posting and monitoring blog posts, tweets, status updates, reviews, photos and videos.
3. Responsible for social media community management, respond to or field engagement, inquiries, and comments on established channels in real time.
4. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages consumers to take action.
5. Interface with media agency and guide paid social strategy.
6. Leverage measurement and monitoring tools to provide progress reports on weekly, monthly basis and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
7. Benchmark competitive/industry best practices and report against industry leaders in social media.
8. Frequent audit of social media content performance and recommend optimization of the contents.
9. Create and develop editorial calendar content production process ensuring creative is channel appropriate, tagging and linking are optimized and team is delivering on engagement growth across all channels.
10. Monitor conversations on social media properties; escalate to appropriate internal contacts to respond promptly and effectively.
11. Analyze all social content: tweets, comments and gain competitive intelligence and report to the Line Manager and above these insights on a weekly and monthly basis.
12. Liaise with other Departments and Managers within Al Sayer Group to develop and create social + marketing initiatives.
13. Set up and optimize company social media pages to increase visibility of Al Sayer group’s social content.
14. Implement strategies to support product launches and to increase conversions around the company editorial calendar/brand stories.
15. Stay abreast of key industry trends in social media, best practices, and platform improvements such as videos, photography, postings, hashtags, etc. Identify and propose new opportunities appropriate for the brand.
16. Check and rectify the web site data prototypes in English and Arabic and provide for easy navigation and browser compatibility.
17. Assist the Line Manager and the team with event coordination and in crisis communication.
18. Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
19. Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
20. Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
21. Perform other duties as requested by management.
