Job Description:
Leads all company activities from an operational, financial and managerial perspectives to enhance shareholders value. Interfaces with shareholders, is responsible for the definition of company strategy and decides courses of action in its implementation.
Strategic leadership
• Translate vision/mission into strategic imperatives and goals validated by the shareholders.
• Lead strategy execution by defining targets, supporting company teams, monitoring performance and taking corrective action where required
• Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
• Shareholders Interface:
• Interface regularly with shareholders to present strategic plans and report on performance.
Governance Model:
• Coordinate efforts with company managers and shareholders for establishing, enforcing and continuously adhering to procurement, production, maintenance, marketing, human resources, financial and technical services policies and procedures along with authority matrices and governance systems as per best practices and in line with prevailing standards/ regulations.
Team Building and Management of People:
• Lead efforts for the buildup of company management team including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing innovation and value adding opportunities.
Management of Operations:
• Be responsible for assuring the smooth operation of company manufacturing facilities.
• Control all day to day operations.
• Supervise a staff, including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality Control, Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance and all other company functional teams/ departments.
• Constantly find ways to enhance productivity and work efficiency.
• Regularly and consistently report on the facility’s activities to shareholders.
• coordinate workers' schedules ensuring each person completes their work in the correct order for the project to progress efficiently.
• Enforce safety rules and make sure all workers have the right tools, equipment and materials to get the job done correctly.
• Obtain the necessary permits and required variances and manage the details for several projects at once.
