• BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
1. Plans for business development, expansion, and increase of enrollees.
2. To liaise with external parties, suppliers and clients, as a POC for the Kindergarten.
• DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS
1. Work closely with the Head Teacher in developing curriculum, programs, activities, etc.
2. Keep the staff informed and seek ideas for the improvement of the school by conducting regular meetings
3. To liaise closely with parents/caregivers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about the children’s progress and encouraging parental involvement.
4. Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior
5. To draw up and supervise the monthly and annual program of nursery activities and events by regularly assessing it
6. To monitor the quality of teaching and identify in-service training needs.
• STAFF MANAGEMENT
1. To oversee Staff planning and implementation, to actively take part in Recruitment & Selection process of the Teachers/Assistant Teachers
2. Overlooking personnel management, including hiring new staff, set up of office operations;
3. Keep the Board advised of employees not meeting their contractual agreement.
• MANAGEMENT CONTROL
1. Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the nursery consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the Nursery including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, discipline systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate
2. Establish procedures that create and maintain attractive, organized, functional, healthy, clean, and safe facilities, with proper attention to the visual, acoustic and temperature.
3. To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, that equipment is safe, standards of hygiene are high, safety procedures are implemented at all times and fire drills/evacuation procedures are carried out effectively.
4. Notify immediately the Board, and appropriate personnel and agencies when there is evidence of substance abuse, child abuse, child neglect, severe medical or social conditions.
5. Work closely with the Head Teacher to develop nursery policies and procedures as per Legislation and Company standards
6. Establish and maintain an effective inventory system for all Kindergarten supplies, materials and equipment.
7. Maintain and account for all student activity funds and money collected from students.
