The position requires sound project managements skills including:
1 Project Control
• Ensure that projects objectives and deliverable are met
• Prepare and control project schedule
• Monitor construction activities of sub-contractors
• Prepare weekly progress reports
• Communicate and liaise with client
• Monitor and approve all project expenditures
• Monitor cash flow projections and cash flow
• Prepare monthly invoices
• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
2 Project Planning
• Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
• Create a detailed work plans which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Review the project schedule with senior management and sub-contractors that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
3 Leadership Skills
Position requires individual to have strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower, to be a strong communicator able to take initiative and function independently. Must be capable of making people management decisions and comfortable in a management position.

5 Computer-Skills
Ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Ability to learn new applications quickly. Microsoft Office skills including: MS Project, Excel, Word, Power Point are required.
