• Responsible for overall project management. Review completeness of documentation and prepares document transmittal's
• Act as the Firm’s representative with the client during the execution of the project. Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
• Provide leadership and direction to all project operations, including mobilization of equipment, site facilities, staffing, scheduling of in-house self-performed works.
• Monitor all work progress on a day-to-day basis to ensure conformance with schedule, contract documents and project budgets.
• Manage multiple resources and maintain current knowledge of project and respond to administrative and technical inquiries.
• Schedule, attend, and participate in all projects meetings.
• Monitor general condition costs and maintain cost, productivity and budget controls.
• Exercise strict control over expenditures and initiate actions to bring them under control and provide input to regular construction progress reports to the company Head Office.
• Assure compliance with contractual requirements and with the scope of work.
• Ensure all elements of plans and specifications meet cost and schedule requirements.
• Establish a proper document control system and ensure that the project staff is trained to apply well developed control systems, programs and software’s.
• Develop methods for tracking materials and resources. Review Contract/tendering documents, to ensure a thorough understanding of the contract requirements.
• Resolve any contractual/legal matters or complications and assure appropriate action is taken.
• Establish and maintain good relations with clients, partners and local authorities aimed at safeguarding and promoting company interests.
• Ensure that all punch list items are resolved, client hand over is satisfactorily conducted and that there is no prolongation of project.
