1. Participate in all activities involving Group Executive i.e. Strategy, Innovation Process, 5 year planning etc.
2. Take over the day to day running and management of the dairy farm
3. Draw up a business plan and concur with owners on goals and objectives.
4. Monitor key performance, manage OPEX and managers.
5. Ensure that feasibility studies are carried out on various aspects of manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain operations.
6. Ensure that manufacturing capacities and other business requirements are planned and timely in place for the long term business plan achievement.
7. Provide direction to ensure that farm equipment and other fixed assets are effectively utilized.
8. Ensure that COGM (Cost of Goods Manufactured) and Cost/Unit do not exceed the target.
9. Ensure that logistics & supply chain management team are closely monitored and apply measures to ensure efficient inventory management.
10. Ensure that each area of operations is in compliance with international quality and food safety standards.
11. Ensure that each area of operations is in compliance with health and safety best practice.
12. Ensure that HSS programs are achieved e.g. H&S audits, risk assessments, etc.
13. Provide direction to Human Resources for the recruitment of competent workforce, ensuring that budgeted headcount is achieved.
14. Ensure that learning and development plan and achievement of technical competencies for all employees are in place
15. Ensure that strategic drive is in place and achieved on talent attraction and retention
