A well-established fully functional dairy farm, owned by a leading regional family, seeks a CEO to run and commercially grow the business
Description
Participate in all activities involving Group Executive i.e. Strategy, Innovation Process, 5 year planning etc.
Take over the day to day running and management of the dairy farm
Draw up a business plan and concur with owners on goals and objectives.
Monitor key performance of OPEX Managers. Address issues and make resolutions.
Through the OPEX Managers, carry out financial budget planning.
Ensure that feasibility studies are carried out on various aspects of manufacturing, engineering, quality, human resource, and supply chain operations.
Ensure that manufacturing capacities and other business requirements are planned and timely in place for the long term business plan achievement.
Provide direction to ensure that farm equipment and other fixed assets are efficiently, effectively, safely utilized and properly maintained.
Ensure that sound management is applied for the effective and efficient utilization of the Operations running capital
Ensure that COGM (Cost of Goods Manufactured) and Cost/Unit do not exceed the target.
Ensure that logistics & supply chain management team are closely monitored and apply measures to ensure efficient inventory management.
Provide direction to Human Resources for the recruitment of competent workforce.
Ensure that budgeted headcount is achieved.
Ensure that each area of operations is in compliance with international quality and food safety standards.
Ensure that each area of operations is in compliance with health and safety best practice.
Ensure that HSS programmes are achieved e.g. H&S audits, risk assessments, etc.
Ensure to always find option in the reduction of operational costs.
Ensure that career development and succession planning are in place for all employees.
Ensure that five year plan for the local employee development is planned and achieved.
Ensure that learning and development plan and achievement of technical competencies for all employees are in place.
Ensure that strategic drive is in place and achieved on talent attraction and retention.
Profile
At least 15 years experience in FMCG Manufacturing (specifically Dairy farming) in which minimum of 10 years in a senior management role.
Bachelors degree (essential for visa purposes)
Able to live and work in Kuwait and manage up to 300 staff / farm workers / blue collar workers
Job Offer
up to 4,000 KWD per month ( approx 13,500 USD ) per month tax free
