Our client, a renowned telecommunication company is currently recruiting for a Product Development Officer . This position will be based in Kuwait
General Description of the Position:
Manage the complete lifecycle of the product & services delivered towards the verticals with an emphasis on profit and margin optimization. Operationalize the growth strategy of the company; gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements; working closely with engineering to deliver products and services to market; plan and create expansion at new territories; working with sales, pre-sales and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met whilst ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimize the P/L of the product & services portfolio
• Develop pricing models and strategy to meet profitability goals
• Develop the core positioning and messaging for all products and services
• Manage the Product Life Cycle
• Ongoing competitor analysis - expert in the competition and their services
• Ongoing analysis of quality, competitiveness, business fit and operational fit of products and services
• Deliver clear written product requirements with prioritization and justification
• Develop business cases for new product and service development and/or enhancement
• Project manage the development and launch of new products and services
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships, licensing opportunities and acquisitions in order to grow the company.
Other Duties:
• Develop sales tools and marketing collateral
• Brief and train the sales team at sales meetings
• Work with Sales and Pre-sales to collate customer requirements and meet with customers
• Perform product demos to customers
• Work with the Executive Team to lead the development of new products & services
• Be an effective Marketing Team member in coordinating the entry to market and ongoing promotion of all products and services.
