1.Monitors day to day well operations in regard to drilling and completions fluids. Advises Drilling and Completions Engineering and Operations Groups and rig site Fluid Technicians as appropriate.
2.Forecasts annual fluids material requirements and ensures adequate supplies are always available to meet operational needs.
3.Prepares fluids materials requirements on a well-to-well basis and coordinates material transfers.
4.Ensures QA/QC of drilling and completions fluids to be used in operations.
5.Identifies, analyses and resolves operational and technical drilling and completion fluids issues.
6.Provides technical and operational input to proposed drilling and completion fluids programs if requested.
7.Contributes to reviews by Fluids Specialist of current fluids usage and practices and identification of improvement opportunities.
8.Contributes to initiatives by Fluids Specialist to improve usage practice of fluids so that optimal operational performance is achieved.
9.Conduct Phase II of the Continuous Improvements Initiatives
10.Prepare and submit SPE Paper
11.Develop, implement, and follow up on Mud Contractor’s performance
12.Prepare and submit the Reply to the Country State Audit queries related to the Mud unit
13.To Mentor employees assigned to the Mud unit to explain their roles and responsibilities and grooming of Engineers
14.Finding and reporting the initiatives for cost optimization on mud services, preparation of monthly business output (MBO) tracker.
15.Preparation and submission of the budget and conceptual proposal for mud services,
16.Time to time conducting rig audit and visit’s and mud plant visit to ensure the performance of mud service provider and preparing KPI for the same.
17.Preparation of the daily ongoing wells status report, providing technical support and comments for the drilling team.
18.Demands & monitoring on the proper use of solids control equipment in LMP;
