Accountable for:
- Local & remote support of regional offices assigned for all first line of Technical support services for the environment
- Ensuring the delivery of the right solutions at the right time to the users.
- Documents any identified application defects and enhancement requests - liaising with external support groups on problem resolutions
- Registered IT assets for inventory purpose and yearly Software audit by Microsoft Audit and compliance
Key Roles:
- Provide Administration and Internal support of the group’s assets like PCs, printers, servers, and related IT Assets & equipment
- Acts as a 1st line support calls for applications & systems troubleshooting and or execution of pre-established workarounds
- Resolve technical problems with LAN Networks, WAN Networks (WAN)
- Respond to queries from users, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problems, and determines and implements solution within the defined frameworks.
- Perform daily systems health check of locally implemented Active directory Services, Antivirus Services, and Windows Services and ensures that system logs are reviewed on a daily basis and notifies the Direct reporting line for any errors
- Performs approved system updates, Security patches, upgrades to Systems &Desktops at the country level
- Supports IP Telephony system deployed in the head office and regional locations and ensures that network communications are maintained at all times
- Ensures that printing systems are defined as per the standard of the company and approved user list is maintained at all times and obtain proper approvals for IT asset relocation
- Ensures the IT Environment & systems are clean and error free of problems
- Document each user interaction and to provide knowledge to other IT professionals who may take over a specific support case, therefore it is mandatory, that you have followed or are following best practices of IT Governance in terms of problem management, escalation procedures and follow strict guidelines as set by the IT management.
