The Head of Product Development - Banking will be responsible for the following:
- Manage Customer Proposition team, including hiring, training and creating the right capabilities- Oversee the creation of consistent and customized (depending on target customer segment) customer propositions:
- Review the portfolio of existing products and services, based on target customer needs and preferences, as well as overall retail strategy adopted- Revamp the existing portfolio to create customer propositions, going beyond individual products or services by providing integrated solutions for customers- Identify potential new products and services to introduce as part of these new customer propositions
- Oversee the design of the 5-year product and service roadmap (based on customer propositions developed) and obtain required approvals- Drive the execution / development process and liaise with key parties (e.g. Risk, Compliance, IT Departments) to ensure a fast delivery, especially for key decisions- Set operational goals / metrics and closely monitor performance of solutions developed (for immediate adjustment whenever needed)- Launch regular research studies to understand customer needs and preferences- Identify innovative tools and methodologies to generate customer insights in a creative way- Gather competitive intelligence and understand competitors positioning to always maintain a competitive edge in solutions developed- Engage with employees internally to generate ideas for new solutions to develop
Profile
The Head of Product Development - Banking must have the following:
- Product development with track record of improvement in customer experience, ideally with a retail banking industry background (minimum 10 years of experience, including team management)- Strong knowledge of digital trends and innovations, especially in retail banking solutions- Involvement in large-scale transformation program, involving multi-disciplinary stakeholders, as well as change management
