Key Accountabilities:
- Compiles and analyzes financial & management information for submission to the Finance Director and MD.
- Maintains accurate and reliable financial information.
- Ensures that Accounts are maintained in English and Arabic to recognized international standard. Also, that all accounting practices comply with the Accounting standards, Company policy.
- Deals with Banks on a regular basis regarding utilization of working capital facilities.
- Performs other functions, which may be assigned by the Finance Director and Managing Director.
- Responsible for fixed assets control and verification.
- Responsible for following finance & accounting policies in his area of work i.e. General Ledger/Bank work, fixed asset accounting.
- Interacts with external audit staff to ensure effective and timely completion of audit.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Should have knowledge of computers including in MS Windows, MS Office and Scala ERP system.
- Ideally should be fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Must have 5 years work experience in a similar position.
- Must have a transferable visa
Frameworks, Boundaries and Decision Making:
- The position holder, as part of the management team of the company, has the ability to advise on and take decisions. Such decisions impact on the department in a major way.
- The post holder, which is a supervisory position, has to implement the group financial policies and procedures.
