The Sales Manager main duty is techno commercial selling of explosion proof electrical products to customers through channel partners.
Essential Functions:
- Recommend, develop and pursue long term sales growth objectives and plans within the territory.
- Manage and support distribution partner activity in territory - Kuwait & Qatar.
- Seek opportunities to develop the channel partnership to enhance the coverage.
- Develop & Manage End User Engineering mapping activity to cover O&M, Engineering, Planning & Feasibility team of each end users on a monthly basis as a minimum.
- Develop & run Product Seminars presentations to the end users, contractors, consultants & distributors to ensure the specification prescription.
- Manage PLM (Product Line Manager) visits to cover VOC & to utilize such visits to convert competition accounts & installed base within end users.
- Recommend and initiate changes or deletions in current products and pricing necessary to maintain and increase sales and margins in accordance with Eaton Crouse Hinds goals and policy.
- Determine competitive standing of current products in relation to price, features and performance including analysis of competitor’s actions, product developments, and product policies and activities.
- Evaluate product success in the marketplace through internal reports and direct contacts with field sales, customers and distributors. Recommend adjustments to marketing and sales efforts when and where necessary.
- Maintain current and required knowledge of the marketplace to be thoroughly appraised of all new or modified product opportunities as well as developments that may impact our products or ability to sell them.
- Plan and determine product pricing and distribution policy consistent with sound price and discount practices to obtain optimum volume and market position.
- Resolve product inconsistencies arising from, but not limited to, manufacturing and engineering inquiries, change in vendor supplies, and customer complaints.
- Liaising with other Cooper Crouse-Hinds Sales Offices and manufacturing facilities as required.
