- Responsible for all the maintenance related issues for equipments.
- Provide day to day managerial direction to maintenance team to ensure smooth operations in the factory.
- Develop and implement administrative procedures and operating quality control checks to monitor maintenance activities and associated costs according to plan.
- Direct the engineers to adhere to the correct process and procedures for repair documentation.
- Document the maintenance schedule of equipments and ensure that they undergo checks in a timely fashion.
- Technically help the engineers in machine repairs when required.
- Ensuring timely completion of work and adherence to safety and quality.
- Possess knowledge of replacements and coordinate with the stores and purchase department to identify substitutes.
- Ensure safety of machines and workers and monitoring if all safety requirements are being adhered to.
- Responsible for staff development activities comprising of supporting recruitment, team development and complaint resolution, set KPI’s for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal and also drive motivation levels of direct reports.
- Assist the management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
