• Communicating with internal clients to understand and document the business objectives
• Recommending the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
• Designing qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle or the Customer Journey
• Developing / reviewing proposals, designing research questionnaires and discussion guides
• Working with appropriate managers and other team members to oversee the fieldwork initiatives
• Managing and mentoring Research Associates and Analysts
• Conducting / supervising desktop research on markets and opportunities targeted by the business units to ensure we have accurate, relevant and up-to-date information
• Reviewing the analyses and reports of others—ensuring accuracy, logical consistency and value-add
• Interpreting data, writing reports, and making actionable recommendations
• Direct interaction with business leaders in order to assist in the implementation of actions arising from research conclusions
• Performing other duties as requested by the Senior Manager of Marketing Services & Insights
