The Account Executive is responsible for all areas of account management, including the development of good account understanding, understanding of client's current and developing needs, as well as clients' businesses and resolving issues in a timely manner.Fostering customer satisfaction with a positive, constructive and solution oriented approach in alignment with company values.
** RELATIONSHIPS: Maintain good levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication with all customers, and build solid working relationships with each customer.
** MEET SALES TARGETS: Generate new revenue streams through products sales which address prospects client needs
** ORGANIC GROWTH: Develop and execute a plan to manage all account growth, initiating communication with the client at the right time and fulfilling orders and providing account information to the client
** PIPELINE GROWTH: Attend trade exhibitions & conferences to close on prospect & lead opportunities
** PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: Clearly express the value proposition and benefits of range of products and services, and use this knowledge to help increase the value and adoption of our products by the client.
** DEVELOP OPPORTUNITIES: Identify opportunities for increased revenue within the set of accounts (up-selling and possibly cross-selling), and where appropriate, engage with Credit Function to bring to close.
** FORECASTING: Manage Sales Forecast and Pipeline to ensure clear reporting of forthcoming orders, additional sales opportunities, plus the associated revenue and timescales.
** ROLLOUT & ADOPTION: Ensure appropriate levels of customer training and awareness are provided through your own means and partnering with the Engineering Team.
** PAPERWORK: Organise freight and paperwork related to export; Pro-forma invoices, packing lists, attested invoices, certificates of origin, bills of lading etc.
** TEAMWORK: Work on retention initiatives for selected customers with the extended sales team available.
** MANAGING ACCOUNT INFORMATION: Maintain accurate and appropriate client records within the global CRM system to provide timely management information.
** Provide improvement ideas to Sales cycle knowledge base to increase response time and customer satisfaction
** Provide constructive feedback regularly on the effectiveness & soundness of policies, procedures & processes
** Masters laws and regulations governing export shipments and foreign country product compliance
** Maintain a strong understanding of the industries and businesses within the set of customers.
