Key Responsibilities:
• Provides DR capabilities for on-premises & cloud systems, services, and data
•Scheduled, continuous, or ad hoc backup and restore processes for scalable cloud or on-premises data across multiple types of media
• Experience of implementing, managing, integrating, and backup and DR databases solutions
• Perform server upgrades, integration, rebuild and other projects as required
• Extensive knowledge and experience in High availability and disaster recovery database methodologies
• VMware Datacenter Certified Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Associate
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server & Core Infrastructure
• Good experience implementing, managing, maintaining:
o Windows Server OS
o Linux Server Distro
o Virtualization platforms (Hyper V, VMware)
o Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
o MS SQL DB Administration
o MS Azure Databases solutions and DBaaS
• Good experiences in NAS/SAN storage management
• Extensive knowledge in cloud and on-prem database solutions
• Extensive knowledge in SQL language, scripting and automation
• Experience in disaster recovery requirements (on premise and on cloud)
