- Implement the F&B established policies and procedures and comply with Mohamed Naser Al – Hajery & Sons other policies.
- Receive, store and issue F&B items and distribute to respective destinations (Central Production Kitchen, Restaurants as deemed necessary.
- Keep tight control on stock movements and have all items stored and issued correctly at all times.
- Separate obsolete and slow-moving items at the store and examine periodically for control purposes.
- Adhere to the periodic plan to count inventory items at F&B Restaurants and Stores.
- Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated and environmentally controlled rooms (if required as per specifications).
- Ensure security and administration of the F&B by denying access to inventory items stored in the F&B from unauthorized personnel at all times.
- Ensures segregation of goods based on pick lists provided by the F&B Direct Manager.
- Ensure data and new item information (stock no., description, location, min-max. etc) in the system is tracked and entered accurately for daily issuance, receipts and returned items to maintain updated stock control system.
- Achieve the highest standard of sanitation and cleanliness in the F&B Stores by cleaning according to cleaning schedule and hygiene policy including all heavy-duty equipment, inside refrigerators and ventilation filters to prevent damage of items.
- Responsible for assisting the F&B Provision Master in maintaining all Food storerooms clean and in compliance with Mohamed Naser Al – Hajery & Sons other policies regulations and guidelines.
- Responsible for monitoring proper temperatures of all Food storerooms.
- Document and track damages on orders received and report them to the Direct Manager.
- Disburse merchandise from the storerooms following the pick-up times established in the Internal Requisitioning Timetable for Food Department.
- Maintain proper rotation of merchandise using FIFO (first in – first out) procedures and for monitoring shelf-live of all Food Products.
- Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
