- Assisting staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
- Analysing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
- 4. Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues. Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
- Liaising with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.
- 6. Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Training and Supervising providing overall guidance to junior accounting staff.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing.
- Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
- Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets.
- Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
- Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.
- Supports annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.
- Ensure compliance with the law and auditor’s requirements.
