Provides inpatient and outpatient consultations to patients. Receives referrals and consultations from other disciplines. Analyzes patient's medical history, medication allergies, physical condition, and examination results to verify operation's necessity and to determine best procedure.
- Liaises with other physicians and performing the relevant tests before the surgery.
- Educates patients on their surgical options, preparing patients for surgery and leading surgeries as needed.
- Treats conditions related to the veins, arteries, and other blood vessels.
- Performs surgeries related to diabetic foot management.
- Consults with physicians and referring patients to other specialists if required.
- Determines all risks associated with the surgery and clearly outlining them for the patient.
- Addresses all patient concerns and answering their questions as accurately as possible.
- Keeps abreast of advancements in Diabetic Foot Management as well as the broader medical field.
- Schedules follow-ups to monitor patients’ well-being and to advise them on suitable aftercare measures and medication they might require.
- Builds relationships with patients and providing support to their families wherever possible.
