- Collect samples from various clients in a valid manner consistent with good laboratory practice.
- Analyze samples with laboratory equipment and interpret data in order to determine results.
- Prepare and dispense solutions and chemical material used in testing as per disposal guidelines of chemicals.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of laboratory procedures and results; ensure compliance with government regulations; prepare analytical work sheets and reports.
- Assist in ensuring the laboratory remains in compliance with the Laboratory accreditation guidelines, especially maintenance of the instruments.
- Follow rigorously all safety, method manual, and quality assurance/ quality control protocols.
- Maintain inventory record of supplies, material and equipment, and prepare requisition as needed.
- Wash, clean, and sterilize laboratory glassware and other instruments.
- Maintain material safety datasheet for laboratory chemicals and products.
- Perform required fields of testing as listed in the “List of Approved Fields of Testing and Analyses” included in the Laboratory certification provided by Environmental Laboratory of Accreditation Program Department of Health Services.
- Ensure clients expectation are met in a timely manner.
- Build sustainability of “superior support”.
