Role Profile:-
Based in Alshayas head office in Kuwait, the position is of key strategic importance and will play a vital role delivering the brands aggressive growth strategy. The successful applicant will assume responsibility for the growing Delivery operation across MENA region, enabling an expanding network of stores and aggregators in 10 markets.
The Business Manager for Delivery will develop multi-year strategies to create a world-class operation delivering rapid and sustained growth while driving continuous improvement and ensuring effective execution of the Starbucks annual operating plan. Responsible for implementing the highest ethical and compliance standards throughout their team.
What You'll Be Doing:-
As the Business Manager for Deliver you will have overall responsibility for the Starbucks Delivery business across MENA. Reporting to the Commercial Director - MENA, you will;
\[ Develop medium to long term multi-year strategies for Starbucks across MENA region, within existing and emerging markets
\[ Lead key partner engagement to build a world-class delivery network which maximizes customer reach while maintaining the highest Starbucks quality and service standards
\[ Lead teams to optimize sales, enable successful regional expansion and maximize the commercial advantage of the business
\[ Provide functional leadership to the Delivery team that ensures execution of the Delivery strategy, which in turn enables Starbucks to meet its Annual Business Plan
\[ Work closely with Senior Management, Host Brand and 3rd Party Partners to ensure that all Delivery requirements are met at the right time, right place and within projected costs
\[ Champion the role of compliance across the channel and implements best in class methods to keep Starbucks at the forefront of industry thinking
\[ Continually integrate best practices and prioritize learning and development across the wider cross functional community
\[ Be able to galvanize and motivate large numbers of small teams around specific key performance indicators and continue to refine and improve operational efficiency while reducing operational errors
\[ Lead on multiple large and complex projects including new format developments with a 1-2-year vision as well as exporting proven models across different geographies
\[ Be able to lead comms with exec level and senior stakeholders
\[ Set budget proposals within agreed parameters and measure operational costs in line with expectation across the period
Requirements:-
A high caliber professional with experience managing large multi-site operations with full P&L responsibility
An original thinker capable of innovating and building the operational playbook for Starbucks Delivery and beyond
A people leader and influencer with excellent communication skills and experience of building and retaining high performing teams across large geographies
Strong organisational, leadership and administrative skills with experience of delivering results with multiple stakeholders
