MAJOR ROLE:
- Represent the company as Brand Ambassador providing the Ultimate Customer Experience along with maximizing the overall store sales opportunities and creating a "Crystal World" for all new and existing Swarovski customers.
- Promoting the features and benefits of Swarovski Crystal to all consumers and meeting established sales goals.
- Identification of new customers in the B2B, B2C segments and collaboration with Designers.
- Manage store operations, optimize sales and profits, control relevant store costs and support and implement Merchandising, Marketing & other in-store initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to Improve store performance, strategize our customer expansion plan and own P&L responsibilities.
- Motivating & engaging staff and to ensure the staff represents and embraces brand values and understands brand goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operational
- Responsible for developing and executing a strategy and translate it to a SMART operational plan to increase sales and promote brand awareness for Swarovski's crystal components business.
- Overseeing all store operations, ensuring systems, processes, procedures, and policies are in place to guarantee consistent, smooth, and efficient store operations, focusing on a high level of compliance with the customer experience always in mind.
- Review current processes, identifying areas of improvement and evolving vision.
- Oversee implementation and adoption of current strategies to improve and increase the brand market presence.
- Responsible for the Store operating model, driving operation excellence, the related culture, and standards across all brands.
- Create standard operating procedures (SOP).
- To ensure outstanding visual merchandising standards clearly impacting customer conversion, average spend and gross profit margin results.
- Ensure excellent customer service through the implementation of the brand/company guidelines to enhance the shopping/brand experience.
- Analyze KPIs, sales performance, competitor analysis, market trend and present relevant conclusions.
- Manage duty rosters ensuring adequate staffing levels on the shop floor.
- Understand market dynamics (demographics, consumer behavior, market understanding, etc.).
Leadership
- Drive and develop team to be pro-active in achieving business unit and organization objectives through proper development and implementation of operating plans & build a store team that is “operationally strong”.
- Responsible for the induction and development of the team by providing on the job training and assessing progress, through proper orientation and performance improvement /development plan and ensure a monthly/semi-annual training plan for employees
- Follow KPI’s closely as they relate to operation productivity, Customer retention KPIs, and operating costs and inventory/control (shrinkage).
Strategic, Planning, Development and Execution
- Gather, analyze and interpret market information by conducting market research, constant monitoring of market/segment developments, structuring internal and external data to share with the business units and customers.
- Proper assessment, analysis and implementation of operations which improve store efficiencies, productivity, and client experience.
- Comprehensive reporting to management.
- Participate in the preparation of the monthly business review.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure omni-channel projects are seamless.
- Collaborate with IT to Develop reports that improve compliance and controls.
- Strengthens visibility and operational Excellence.
- Focus on the “customer-centric” approach: delivering a superior, unique, and consistent customer experience across all sales channels.
- Help identify the key values and objectives, customer satisfaction being the core and ensure consistent service across to all customers.
- Lead the enhancement of brand manuals and catalogues.
Stock levels and inventory
• Review and analyze stocks and sales reports monitoring over and under stocks, implementing corrective action to be taken.
• Ensure effective & healthy stock, space management, inventory and warehouse management.
• Carries out all loss prevention activities maintaining the brand image as defined by their stock loss action plans and seeks to improve staff awareness of stock loss issues.
Financials
• Submit budgets and forecast operating expense plans through close collaboration with the Finance team.
• Continuous daily review of DSR and Monthly review of P&L’s to ensure exceeding or reaching the budgeted sales target resulting in the highest profit margins.
• Control costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Monitor and control labor and operational expenses through efficient store operations.
• Prepare and participate in the preparation of sales budgets and ensure sales and profitability are in line with business objectives.
People Management
• Ensure development of showroom staff through Learning & Development, Ongoing development of essential managerial skills.
• Set KPIs for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal.
• Reviewing the team performance providing immediate feedback (both positive and developmental) to recognize and praise excellent performance and to develop areas of need
• To identify and proactively manage any poor performance issues using appropriate company policy.
