Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical design, products and systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers to design, and develop to achieve design targets
- Develop new concepts and perform analysis on designs while considering constraints from multiple disciplines (electrical design, architectural, structural, civil design, manufacturing, business needs).
- Overseeing maintenance, inspection, and system upgrade programs.
- Calculating project costs and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with consultant, contractor, suppliers, etc to complete and finalize any work related to the company and department.
- Site visit, and inspections.
- Collaborating with clients and other professionals.
- Writing reports, giving presentations and meeting with clients and management.
- Perform with subcontractors and General Contractor.
- Prepare guidelines and procedures to develop company products as per specifications and schedules using safest and cost-effective processes.
- Develop and maintain relations with other departments for optimum product development focusing on product standardization.
- Review and approve electrical design drawings, specs, BOQ, calculations, finishes, materials, etc.
- Provide technical assistance to clients, existing facilities, and company.
- Develop preliminary, final as well as working layouts related to electrical.
- Provide knowledge, management, and oversight of electrical design for multiple projects
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, task management; prepare/approve work programs for all projects
- Develop a manpower estimate based on the established scope of work, and manage projects to fit within the budget
- Prepare, review, and assess all designs including contract drawings with shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, TOR and ensure compliance
- Prepare and maintain updated general specifications for electrical, firefighting, plumbing, refrigeration, CCTV, fire alarm, HVAC works, infrastructure, etc.
- Visit and follow up ongoing projects in all locations as needed
- Participate in design preparation and reviews, risk assessments and vendor bid evaluations
- Submit monthly report for all projects from electrical side
- Interact with customers, vendors and other outside representatives on specific matters related with product design.
