Job Title: Talent Acquisition & Development Senior Specialist
Report To: Assistant Vice President – Human Resources
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update and monitor Manpower Budget and update Organization Charts and Department Charts accordingly.
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of manpower budgets and reports.
- Supports the HR Management to implement approved recruitment strategies of various departments using internet tools, online ads, agencies, etc.
- Provide support services to the business and staff as and when requested and is a point of contact for all recruitment activities and tasks.
- Conduct the entire recruitment process to enable selection of quality talent for vacant positions within defined timelines that includes conducting employment checks, pre-screening and interviews.
- Refer to the job descriptions to identify key accountabilities and requisite competencies for all vacant positions.
- Perform searches for qualified candidates as per relevant job criteria; through CV database, recruitment portals, social media (such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), professional networking websites (such as LinkedIn), approved recruiting agencies, etc. in an efficient and cost effective manner.
- Coordinate with marketing department to design and ensure that the internal and external advertisements and various recruitment related templates adhere to the guidelines of the marketing department.
- Screen candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills, and provide feedback against job standards; review & verify educational, employment and other relevant documents as required.
- Administer written or psychometric assessments as appropriate, evaluate and analyse results.
- Summarize and forward screened CVs to the concerned hiring managers for evaluation.
- Sets up interviews for all vacancies, with a selected interview panel and provide feedback to the hiring manager and updates the candidate of the outcome.
- Conduct HR interview for all vacancies along with the interview panel, and provide recommendations to the hiring manager, obtains their decision and inform the candidate.
- Perform reference and background checks for candidates.
- Inform prospective colleagues about visa documentation, joining formalities and relocation and hiring policies and ensures smooth arrival of the colleagues within stipulated date.
- Prepare conditional offer for selected candidate based on successful employment check and verify the offer with the compensation structure, thereby ensuring agreement of the hiring manager on the same.
- Handle negotiations regarding new hire and their joining date in coordination with hiring manager, prior to preparing a legally binding employment contract for the new hires in coordination with the policy and procedures of the company.
- Administer joining formalities of the new hires ensuring that all the documentation provided by the new hire is accurate and up-to-date and coordinates with immigration team to finalize new hire immigration requirements.
- Check-in regularly with new hires to ensure they are settling in well; dispatch probation feedback forms as per schedule, track and follow up for timely completion.
- Prepare and update recruitment reports and metrics.
- Maintain resume database of the candidates and manage the recruitment database to ensure up to date information of recruitment activities.
- Conduct Training Need Analysis for departments based on based on annual Business Plans together with regular feedback from Performance Management and Succession Planning.
- Liaison with external training providers for nominated employees and organizing in-house trainings.
- Support internal training and blended learning initiatives with concerned departments.
- Monitor and support the employee's 'Training Action Plans' to ensure and enhance application of learning at work
- Maintain an up to date catalog of Job Descriptions, review and update Job Descriptions on an annual basis or earlier as required.
- Analyse jobs and prepare new Job Descriptions using primary and secondary sources of data and obtain requisite approvals.
- Identify the training and development requirements for self and agree on them with the direct manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended.
- Set performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the direct manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
- Perform other duties as from time to time as assigned by the direct manager
