- Providing functional leadership to supply chain aspects like Purchasing, Logistics & Distribution.
- Responsible for both sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the company source best quality & services at economical price and in time
- Research through internet, directories, various trade fairs and exhibitions and correspond in professional way to target new competitive and reliable suppliers.
- Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships.
- Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance
- Provide input into the development of policies and procedures for the Distribution
- Review monthly orders and monitor inventory levels in order to ensure a flawless distribution process
- Review on a regular basis the projections of the stock status
- Coordinate with suppliers for documentation control and processes control
- Monitor supply process, products specifications, and assists in making recommendations to correct inventory imbalances
- Having in-depth knowledge of INCO-TERMS, Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Freight, Cargo Insurance & Custom Procedures.
- Oversee scheduling of warehouses personnel to ensure proper staffing in order to receive products in a productive and cost-efficient manner
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the warehouse; activities may include shipping, receiving, sanitation, maintenance, inventory control, etc.
