Our client is looking to hire a Finance Director who will be reporting directly to the CEO and shall be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of the Finance and sub related departments.
- Ascertaining the present financial strategies of the organization;
- Revising and determining the core financial strategies in consultation with the top management;
- Assesses, plans, directs and evaluates strategic changes to improve delivery of financial services within the organization;
- Introduces corporate equity and capital structure to facilitate organization level account consolidation, analysis and evaluation of organization’s performance;
- Ensures compliance to International Accounting Standards (IAS) in financial accounting and reporting;
- Initiates projects to leverage use of ERP System to improve the financial performance;
- Reviews the current operational performance of clinical departments within the organization and makes appropriate recommendations. Advises the top management on all the issues related to the financial decisions including analyzing and appraising the current financial position of all individual departments;
- Manages the day to day operations of account receivables, payables, payroll and inventory management;
- Monitors the implementation of all financial policies and procedures;
- Identifies cash resources of the organization for requirements to specific projects. Liaises with the banks for the provision of funds should such need arises;
- Introduces asset management system and ensures that organizational assets are adequately controlled and inter entity asset movements are monitored and controlled;
- Overall responsibility of external and internal audits of the organization;
- Directs, monitors and coordinates formulation of data based on statistical studies and analyses of past and current years, prepares budget, reviews operating budgets on monthly and quarterly basis to analyze trends and advises management accordingly;
- Reports to the management on quarterly management accounts;
- Conducts various ratio analysis to analyze and appraise the management performance;
- Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, budget preparations, negotiation, implementation, monitoring the actual performance with the budget and variance analysis;
- Introduces and costing review and management system for the organization and individual entities;
- Ascertains the cost of service. Conducting project feasibility studies with the objective of investing the resources profitably and Identifying new investment opportunity and performs project appraisals and analysis;
- Reviewing all contracts that the organization will enter into, in co-ordination with organization’s external lawyers and present his and external lawyer comments to management. Will be responsible to ensure proper processes for financial records storage and retention;
- Manages processes related to financial security and confidentiality.
