Responsibilities
· Experience should include involvement with MEP design and analysis for large commercial and governmental building projects.
· Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with each trade.
· knowledge of MEP design software such as HAP, Etap, Elite, etc
· Possess excellent communication, organizational and team working skills.
· Excellent command/highly proficient in spoken and written English. Preferred Bilingual (Arabic/English)
· Knowledge of terminology, symbols, and sources of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing engineering drafting and design information pertaining to building design/construction.
· Knowledge of drafting and modelling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, …etc
Professional Experience
· Coordinate MEP space allocation and design requirements with other trades.
· Review MEP design works and technical requirements and ensures sharing with others.
· Identify problems in designs and facilitate problem-solving between MEP and other parties
· Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
· Ensure that MEP design adheres to international safety regulations.
· Applying standard quality control/quality assurance procedures on MEP design.
· Write clear and concise reports and technical descriptions.
· Compile and analyze data from surveys, studies, and calculations.
· Able to manage the delivery of multiple projects.
· Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work.
· Assure MEP design adherence to international and local codes pertaining to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing engineering, including but not limited to ASHRAE, NFPA, International Building Codes, MEW regulations, KFD regulations,…etc.
