We are looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages on Xcite.com. You will be working alongside our backend team to develop new features using efficient scalable code.
Job Responsibility:
- Work with the direction of the Assistant Manager to execute projects related to UI / UX improvements.
- Develop using vanilla Javascript and Javascript frameworks such as React
- Determining the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
- Work directly with Magento frontend/theming.
- Test new functionalities, before they are moved to the live website.
- Be able to edit/maintain mockups & wireframe libraries created in Adobe XD
