1. Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
2. Provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
3. Maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues, and all other departments.
4. Complete understanding of and adhere to the restaurant’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
5. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
6. Complete understanding of the restaurant’s employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained within.
7. The Commis II is aware of the importance of quality food served in our restaurant and hence makes every effort to prepare the best product possible.
8. Never frequent the kitchen area either on or off duty unless he/she is in proper uniform.
9. Never uses equipment for any purpose for which it is not intended either by house rules or by custom.
10. Responsible for all kitchen utensils to be available at all times cleaned and stored after use. Also responsible that the kitchen is cleaned before he/she finishes his/her shift.
11. Must know the menu, ingredients, method of cooking and time to prepare each item.
12. Conducts him (her) self in such a manner as to encourage fellow employees to do likewise.
13. Makes sure that his/her set ups are always ready so that he/she may give quick, efficient and quality service.
14. Follows instructions meticulously and is all the time cooperative and willing to learn more.
15. Even though the Commis II is assigned to a specific station which he/she must be completely familiar with, he/she may be called upon to help at another station or outlet.
16. Record all dishes (including all basic recipes) in his/her recipe book for future and training purposes.
17. Attend every training session he/she is scheduled to.
18. Totally aware that his/her Superiors for future assignments, appraisals, reports, transfers and bonus will closely monitor his/her performance.
