Responsibilities
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Implementing corrective actions.
- Transfer products as per company policies and procedures; coordinating inventory transfers with related divisions
- Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems
- Prepare periodic reports to management on damaged and expired items.

- Plan & allocate distribution to the customers based on sales orders locations.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- To assist in warehouse and associated activities to report progress against targets to the Warehouse Manager.
- To assist the Warehouse Manager in determining best ways to maximize performance.
- To work with all warehouse colleagues to maximize opportunities and to improve a team spirit.
- To support the Warehouse Manager and restaurant regarding collections and deliveries to all restaurant units as required.
- To support the Warehouse Manager in relation to the management of vehicles, vans and the Bus, including ensuring the bus is prepared and fit for use prior to any event and to co-ordinate drivers for each event.
- To provide regular progress reports to the Warehouse Manager as and when required.
- To manage staff and to ensure high standards of supervision and customer service.
- To assist in staff training. This includes having an understanding and background to the work such as Health and Safety, Food Safety procedure.
- To communicate and update staff to improve team working and a positive place to work.
