- Prepare all shipping documentation required such as the bill of lading, manifest and storage plan prior to the arrival of the inventory.
- Oversee shipping activities, keeping updated shipment records and forwarding relevant information to Logistics and Warehouse Manager on shipment of goods
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Ensure that all information is provided to the clearing agent to ensure that inventory does not face delay.
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Communicate all carrier information such as the estimated time of arrival with the Warehouse supervisor or Site Project Manager
- Monitors clearing agents timely clearance and delivery of materials to warehouse or customer site
- Responsible for preparing the final disbursement account document including all expenses
- Prepare the invoices and make the accounting entries in a timely manner
- Provide all documents as requested by the carriers and logistics operators
- Provide estimates to the accounts department
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to prepare reports such as the daily discharge report and other ad hoc inquiries from the vessel operators and owners
- Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures
