Job Title: International Development Project Manager
To lead and direct the Pace Center of Excellence teams to achieve successful delivery of projects within the stipulated budget targets, time frame, quality assurance standards. The PM primary role is to ensure all teams know what to deliver when to deliver it and have the pre-requisite information and guidance to deliver.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The PM role is to represent Pace before Clients and Stakeholders to enable and drive the successful delivery of projects under his/her review.
- Prepare and review all technical and financial proposals; terms of references; and agreements for all international projects;
- Report to Director and Associate Director on a continuous basis on all matters related to the International Project department;
- Perform all tasks assigned by Director and Associate Director;
- Assist in ensuring the overall quality of projects, outcome, thematic and other types of reviews and evaluations and ensure that the processes and deliverables meet high standards;
- Maintain monitoring mechanism and assist in evaluation plans for all international projects;
- Meet and contact on regular basis with clients to assess progress towards achieving the best results;
- Assist in building and strengthening cooperation and partnerships with governmental agencies, multilateral and bilateral agencies, regional organizations and private sector such as the World Bank, Kuwait Fund, African Development Bank, Saudi Fund, Qatari Fund, Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB); Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA); Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS); and Asian Development Bank;
- Assist a team of engineers and coordinators in reviewing and preparing proposals, agreements, progress reports, financial estimations and technical evaluations.
