Welding technician performs steel works, fabricates, installs and repairs steel structures and furniture. His duties includes:
1. Interpret verbal and written instructions and sketches for execution of jobs.
2. Weld, Fabricate and install Steel framing and panels, shelves, partitions and supports.
3. Prepare the welding sections for small steel structure jobs.
4. Reconstruct or fabricate steel panels and equipment & ensure high quality of work.
5. Receives Steel workshop orders from clients and handover to Senior Supervisor
6. Assist in the execution of preventive maintenance duties of carpentry workshop.
7. Assist in selection and material recommendation required for jobs.
8. Assist in estimation of execution time required for jobs.
