1. Report for duty punctually properly dressed in the assigned uniform and well groomed
2. Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking
3. Weigh or measure ingredients as per kitchen guidelines
4. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items
5. Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.
6. Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
7. Scrape leftovers from dishes into garbage containers
8. Load dishes, glasses, and tableware into dishwashing machines.
9. Inform supervisor when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.
10. Maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times
11. Report any pest sightings and ensure the outer kitchen doors are kept closed at all times to prevent pest contamination
12. Follow the formal training plans as set out by the management and implement on the job training sessions
13. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by Executive Chef
